In May 2011, married environmental activists Zé Cláudio Ribeiro and Maria do Espirito Santo were shot to death outside their house in the Amazonian state of Para. A month later we traveled to Zé Cláudio’s hometown of Marabá, which was once in the middle of the rainforest and is now surrounded by miles and miles of clearcut cattle land. As the investigation into Zé and Maria’s murders went nowhere, we drove into the forest to the site of the killings, followed the heavily armed men of Brazil’s environmental protection agency as they busted up illegal timber mills, visited the militant squatters of Brazil’s Landless Movement, met modern day slaves, and marveled at the lawless, violent atmosphere that permeates the town locals call Marabála (that means Mara-bullets). Nos informó anteriormente esta semana, y estaba bajo ataque Wordes varios años la intimidación intensa y malos tratos por parte del ayuntamiento de la ciudad sólo para mantener los pollos en su casa. Después de Wordes ganado varios juicios que le permita mantener a su casa, compró la ciudad de una hipoteca sobre la propiedad, y declaró ser parte de la región, “verde”, y colaboró con los guardias federales y entró en la casa y llegó a la cima, en el que murieron Wordes. Aunque McBreen y Morales tiene una tarjeta de prensa legítima, y una vez que se detuvo en el Ayuntamiento, y trató de entrar en el edificio, y detenido por la policía, alegando que “no tienen los permisos adecuados para entrar en la ciudad”. Tres agentes de la policía llegó entonces, y se le ordenó salir de Morales McBreen, agregando que ellos saben el personal de los medios de comunicación visitó el “hombre de la propiedad” pollo antes. Habló Infowars y después de un breve periodo de tiempo, los reporteros cuando fue propiedad de “Wordes quemado por segunda vez, la policía de inmediato en el escenario, lo que sugiere a los periodistas de seguimiento.
